By: j | August 26th, 2008Dick Advocaat’s job of getting Zenit Saint Petersburg back in the race for a European spot is taking on a new problem of significant absences next month with International duty that will leave the squad decimated. At present upwards of six members of the club, Aleksandr Anyukov, Andrei Arshavin, Konstantin Zyryanov, Pavel Pogrebnyak, Roman Shirokov and Vyacheslav Malafeev, are likely to be called up to the Russian club. In addition to this Fatih Tekke (Turkey), Ivica Krizanac (Croatia), Anatoly Tymoschuk (Ukraine) and Kim Dongjin (Korea) will be absent for a total of ten players on International assignment.
