week 19 preview of Russian Premier League

The table has broken up a bit with Rubin Kazan and my choice to win the Championship, Dynamo Moscow, five points ahead of third place Amkar Perm’ and Spartak Moscow. The battle for the all-important UEFA Cup spots (3rd through 5th) is extremely close with eight clubs within seven points, so anything can happen.
The highlight matches of the weekend are unquestionably Spartak Moscow visiting Dynamo Moscow, Samara Kryliya Sovetov visiting Zenit St Petersburg which stumbled horribly last weekend and Spartak Nalchik at a resurgent CSKA Moscow.
