Spartak Moskva fires Michael Laudrup

In conjunction with Dinamo Moskva 3-0 humiliation of Spartak 3-0 in the Russian Cup as well as club’s horrible start, manager Michael Laudrup has been fired. As reported earlier this move was coming as the legendary club was not only lacking in production but playing in the style that Spartak is not use to and there have been many questions of younger players development.

In a simply worded statement the club announced his dismissal:

“Michael Laudrup has been dismissed as head coach due to our recent poor results,” the club announced in a
