Sébastien Puygrenier joins Zenit

Zenit is pleased to announce that defender Sébastien Puygrenier has signed a four-year deal with the club and will be joining Dick Advocaat’s squad immediately. The twenty-six year old is moving from AS Nancy where he was one of the top defenders in all of France’s Ligue 1 and will immediately make an impact with Zenit’s back-line. With the club having a eight day lay-off after tomorrow’s match against FC Moscow, he will be quickly be integrated into the lineup for the important August 8th tussle against Rubin Kazan.
