Personally I don’t believe the article to be factual as it says nothing of wage concessions however I thought it important to post.

J, what ever happened to Kerzhakov? I remember him from his time at Sevilla and I always rated him rather highly but lost track of him once he was transfered to Dinamo.

Just wanted to know whether he is still a decent player and if he ever gets called up to Russia.

    Cheers

Aleksandr Kerzhakov is an excellent player and I think he’ll have a very big year for Dinamo.

If you have a chance, pay attention to Fyodor Smolov, Aleksandr Denisov and Aleksandr Kokorin of Dinamo. Exciting young talents that are ready to break out.

Thanks J, I’ll definitely try. Should I also pass on your word to the Sevilla upper-management to hop on a plane to Moscow to check them out?

Only kidding, but it’s good to know that Kerzhakov is doing well, I always thought he was class.

I have a feeling that CSKA Moscow could get something out of this match. Even a draw would be advantageous as then they will have home advantage in the 2nd leg. Aston Villa look like they might be showing signs of fatigue or distracted by Saturday’s upcoming game against Chelsea.

I hope zico CSKA will win or nil nil draw at the next home game! CSKA will get stronger match by match because the new season has not started yet in Russia.

Lots of great matchups in this one. Zhirkov vs Dario Srna should be quite a battle. If Vagner Love can take advantage of the suspect Shakhtar back line CSKA has a shot, but their own Brazilians will have a lot to say about that. I see this one ending 1-1 which would be as good as a win for the Ukrainians.

Yevy, good to hear from you my friend.

This had been rumoured but still it surprises me. I understand the pressure of Zenit is trying and he has seen his side dismantled of late but I didn’t expect him to make the move to Belgium.

Hope all is well with you

That is big loss… Zenit really have become one of the best after his reign. Who will replace him?

Zhirkov is one of the best goalscorers in Europe at the moment. He should play for a team that fights for the CL trophy…it would be cool to see him replancing Eto’o in Barca.

As i predicted he moved to one of the biggest clubs in the world. Zhirkov joined Chelsea on a four year deal for a reported fee of £18m. This deal made him most expensive Russian football player of all time.
Wish him all the best and wining the CL trophy with Chelsea.

Olá, meu nome é Lucas Rezende Cabral. Tenho 24 anos e sou brasileiro. Ouvi dizer que os russos adoram o futebol brasileiro. Um amigo esteve aí e ofereceram um clube com bom salário para ele. Não falo inglês e nem espanhol, mas gostaria de manter contato.
    Aguardo uma resposta,
    Lucas
