Rubin Kazan v Dynamo Moscow match preview

By: j | September 13th, 2008

This is possibly the match of the weekend it will go a long way in deciding the Rosgosstrakh Football Championship. Quite honestly, I lack impartiality as I support the structure, commitment to youth development and coaching style of Dynamo Moscow so I’ve written and re-written this post numerous times to ensure it is impartial. That being said, if you watch Rubin Kazan play once, I suspect you’ll become a fan.

Dynamo’s weakness has been on the attack and it will not get any easier this season with the sale of Danni to Zenit. Andrey Kobelev has one the most balanced and disciplined midfields in the Football world with the likes of Krill and Dmitri Kombarov, Dmitri Kombarov and Igor Semshov. Rubin Kazan is playing brilliant, complete Football and is smelling a title. They came up big against Zenit in a devastating performance and captain Sergei Semak is playing brilliant Football. Gökdeniz Karadeniz has been an extraordinary addition and a sparkplug in the attack along with great Ukrainian veteran and ex-Dynamo Kyiv-man Serhiy Rebrov as well as McBeth. Sergei Ryzhikov has proven himself as one of the best ‘keepers in Russia and recently been added to Guus Hiddink’s squad.

This match begins in roughly nine hours and I would suggest every Football fan to make sure they don’t miss it.
