Rubin Kazan @ Spartak Moscow match preview
By: j | September 20th, 2008Not quite the match-of-the-day but wait till next season when Spartak Moscow’s new manager Michael Laudrup has had a full off-season to work some magic. However thats in the future and Kurban Berdyev is closing in on a remarkable story of leading Rubin Kazan to the championship and a slip-up doesn’t appear to be in the cards.

Rubin Kazan are quite obviously, running away with the Russian championship. Sergei Semak is playing some of the best Football of his career and ex-Dynamo Kyiv-man Serhiy Rebrov is playing like he was in the 90’s. McBeth and Gökdeniz Karadeniz are producing in the attack while Sergei Ryzhikov is one of the best ‘keepers in Russia.
I will report on it with my weekend round-up of the Russian Premier League.
