Frank Rijkaard to lead CSKA Moscow?

By: j | December 8th, 2008

Filling the position of someone who lead you to four Russian Cups, three national titles and the UEFA Cup isn’t easy but such is the task of CSKA Moscow as they go forward with the services of Valery Gazzaev. With such enormous shoes to fill the club has targeted Frank Rijkaard as one of its top candidates with some media sources mentioning Brazil’s national coach Dunga as well. Given Frank Rijkaard’s previous managerial and tactical style this would an intriguing choice for the talent laden Koni, however as a matter of record I am a staunch supporter of a strong regional representation within coaching ranks.
