CSKA to face Deportivo de La Coruña in UEFA Cup

It certainly isn’t a secret that Koni would love to give leader Valeri Gazzaev a perfect send off with the UEFA Cup title that they won in 2005. Of recent they have been playing brilliantly domestically and go into battle perfectly armed for European competition with a Russian capped trio Igor Akinfeev walling-up the goal and brothers Aleksei and Vasili Berezutskiy anchoring the back-line. In the attack Vágner Love continues to fuel reports of clubs vying for his services with stellar performance and young striker Alan Dzagoev is producing nearly a goal a match. With the exception of Chidi Odiah, CSKA is fully-fit and super-charged with confidence.
