CSKA Moscow advances in UEFA Cup

The lone goal came eight minutes from the break when Aleksei Berezutski headed in a Caner Erkin cross. Slaven rarely had a chance to level the match and even though they poured forward looking forward looking for a goal, Koni defended in its typical stalwart fashion and the match ended with another clean sheet for Igor Akinfeev
