Bayern München confident Anatoliy Tymoschuk will join
By: j | January 5th, 2009In speaking with Bild, Bayern München’s Uli Hoeneß said he is confident Zenit Saint Petersburg captain Anatoliy Tymoschuk will join in the summer. While the Ukraine international met with Bayern representatives prior to Christmas without an agreement, the general manager said:
“(Anatoliy) Timoschuk wants to get back to us by the end of January.
“It seems like he does want to join FC Bayern, but only on his terms. We also want him, but obviously only on our terms. I believe he will sign on with us soon.”
Quite obviously there is a lot still to be decided but Anatoliy Tymoschuk would be one of the most difficult departures for Zenit to fill.
