Andrei Arshavin to Tottenham update 2

In continuation of Andrei Arshavin transfer rumour to Tottenham saga, the BBC is claiming that the Spurs most recent offer has been rejected by Zenit. The offer was apparently below Zenit’s demands and predictably it was refused. This isn’t a “deal killer” but if the Spurs will have to come to the table on or near the asking price. There is little room for negotiation tactics when on the other side of the table is Gazprom and the sport better realize this is a different level of business dealings they are used to.
