Andrei Arshavin to join Arsensal: Zenit agrees to fee
By: j | January 26th, 2009The deal everyone has been waiting on appears to be done as Zenit Saint Petersburg have announced that they have agreed to a £15m fee to send Andrei Arshavin to Arsensal of the English Premier League. As per Zenit:
“The clubs have reached an agreement in principle on terms that both sides feel reflect the market value of the player.
“At the moment, the main obstacle in the implementation of the deal are the personal requirements of Andrei Arshavin.”
The Russian international is reputedly in route to London to conclude his negotiations.
