Andrei Arshavin deal nearing completion

As reported in British tabloid “News of the World”, the deal to send Zenit Saint Petersburg’s Andrei Arshavin to Arsenal of English Premier League is nearing conclusion. The Russian international’s oft-quoted representative Dennis Latcher said:

“The deal should go through this week.

“It’s just a matter of sorting out the sums but the indication is it’ll happen soon, perhaps within days.”

However please note this is speculative as both clubs have yet to confirm that the deal is nearing completion and the agent is known for being very talkative within media circles.

  Personally I don’t believe the article to be factual as it says nothing of wage concessions however I thought it important to post.
