a “little” advance notice of the Russian Cup quarter-finals

While I warrant this might be a “little” advance notice but I wanted to remind everyone that the quarter-finals of the Russian Cup is set for April 22, 2009. The Cinderella story of the tournament has certainly been first division’s FC Sibir Novosibirsk who have defeated Zenit Saint Petersburg and Krylia Sovetov Samara on the way. The quarter-final match-ups are as follows:

Lokomotiv Moscow – CSKA Moscow
Spartak Moscow – Dynamo Mosow
FC Moscow – Tom’ Tomsk
Rubin Kazan – Sibir Novosibirsk
